Whip Dance Lessons are taught every Wednesday at The Lone Star Club.  Lesson series are 4 weeks with new series beginning on the 1st Wednesday of each month.  

General Dancing before, between and after classes. 

All Whip dance lessons are free to members of Strictly Whip Dance Club.  Non-members pay $5.00/class for Whip Fundamentals and Whip Cool Moves classes, however, the first introductory class is absolutely free.

97.5% of all Whip dance steps taught at SWDC are leadable.  At Strictly Whip Dance Club, we teach Whip dancing with the belief in the beauty of lead-follow but have great appreciation and fun with the occasional non-leadable step.

We don't teach lifts, drops or flips, but we will teach dips and lunges from time to time.    

Strictly Whip Dance Club's Dance Director, Sandy Ray, has competed and won city, state & national competitions.  She has taught and competed Whip for 30+ years.  She previously taught at profit studios.  "I love the Whip and I love this Club.  It is my pleasure to teach at SWDC. This is a great group of folks, and possibly the friendliest club in town."
