Strictly Whip Dance Club is a non-profit social dance club dedicated to promote a Texas variation of the West Coast Swing, the timeless and remarkable partner dance known as the Whip.

Club meetings are conducted on the 3rd Tuesday of each month.  Meeting locations may vary.  Each member is encouraged to attend the meetings and vote on the decisions of the Club.  Officers are elected by the membership.

Who We Are

Our club is comprised of regular folks who love to dance the Whip and party.  Some are couples, some are singles.  If you love to dance, then this is the place for you.  Partners not required.

What We Do

Parties and Food

Food is one of the highlights of every Strictly Whip Dance Club party.  The club is blessed with ladies and men who are world-class, award-winning cooks.  Strictly Whip Dance Club will have a throw-down challenge right now between our cooks and any other club's cooks!    We know we'll win that contest with one dance shoe tied behind our backs to level the playing field.  Come out and sample the fare.  It's free with your membership.

We seize every excuse to have a party.  Halloween, 4th of July, New Year's Eve, Valentine's Day are just a few of the blow-out type parties for which Strictly Whip Dance Club is renowned in the greater Houston area.   Check out our Photo Gallery for some cool pics.

Strictly Whip Dance Club brings in a national level instructor for every month that has a 5th Wednesday night.  On the 5th week party night, we have one combined level workshop and then eat, party and dance.
